La Tania gives access to the 600km of pistes that make up Les 3 Vallées. The resort is famous for its connections to Meribel, Val Thorens, Courchevel, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville and Orelle. Once parked for the week you won't need to use your wheels to see the sights. The extensive 3 Vallées lift pass allows access to the whole area, meaning there really is something for everyone.
Within Courchevel itself there are 5 little villages: Sainte-Bon-Tarentaise (1100m), Courchevel Le Praz (1300m), Courchevel Villages (1550m), Courchevel Moriond (1650m) and Courchevel Centre joint with the Jardin-Alpin area (1850m).
La Tania is at 1400m and is based between Courchevel and Meribel.
Courchevel is joint host of the 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships with Méribel that will take place in February 2023. Races in Courchevel will finish in Courchevel Le Praz where there is a new super-leisure centre called L'Alpinium. This will be the first time since 2009 that France has held the Alpine World Ski Championships.
In Courchevel 1850 you will find designer shops; Louis Vuitton, Prada and Cartier to name a few, and multiple Michelin stared restaurants tailoring to the luxury market. In the Jardin-Alpin area there are two out of only eight hotels of the highest starred rating in France. At 2008m Courchevel has its own Altiport that opened in 1962, allowing a thrilling and efficient arrival into the resort.
In 2015 the Aquamotion opened, the largest European aquatic centre to open in the mountains! At this fantastic sports centre you can slide about on flumes, surf indoors or sit back and relax in the spa and well-being centre. They have a climbing wall, an indoor gym and in summer many more activities open up outside such as mini golf and beach volleyball.
La Tania is part of Courchevel and therefore is known for its access to the largest ski area in the world: Les 3 Vallées. Enjoy 600 km of ski slopes, over 180 green-blue ski runs, and more than 140 red-black ski runs. You can enjoy the area of Les 3 Vallées no matter your current level of ski, there is something for everyone.
There are Easy Rider areas are there to allow you to progress in complete safety on wide and not very steep slopes, while protected from more experienced skiers. Or if you are skiing with children, there are themed ski slopes for their entertainment while cruising by. Not to mention the zip line and the family Snowpark - plenty to keep your children entertained.
With the ski pass for Les 3 Vallées you can enjoy visiting 7 different resorts. The diversity between each little town is wonderful; dramatic glacial views surrounded by sharp peaks or smooth runs through fir trees and winter chalets.
With the majority of the ski area located at an altitude of 1800 m and the largest artificial snow system in France, snow is guaranteed from the start of the season right through to the end. 25 peaks in Les 3 Vallées are accessible throughout the winter and the resorts are connected by ridges at an altitude of over 2000 m.
La Tania is known for its cool and casual seasonnaire crowd. Pub Le Ski Lodge has daily live music that gets everybody up dancing before the first song has finished.
La Boulotte and Le Schuss in 1650 have good food and more music.
And La Luge in 1850 is known for its lively atmosphere, cocktails and their burger & salad menu.
La Folie Douce - The-all-famous party on the mountain. From open-air clubbing to famous DJs to good food, the Folie Douce tries to cover all grounds. They are very popular with VIP ski groups yet also on-a-budget-students, for its singing, champagne throwing, dancing environment. It really is something to experience.
