La Plagne is a family-friendly resort and part of the famous Paradiski ski area, joined together with Les Arcs and offering a combined 425km of pistes. Comprising a collection of small, purpose-built ski resorts and traditional villages La Plagne has a great selection of pistes for beginners as well as more advanced skiers or snowboarders with varried terrain from tree-lined runs to open bowls.

Found at high altitudes of 1800m to 2100m the purpose built resorts offer a good choice of apartments, chalets and hotels, with ski-in ski-out access, as well as restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. There is also the "Magic Pool" in Plagne Bellecôte, with an outdoor pool heated to 30° in the winter.

The more traditional villages of Monchavin, Montalbert and Les Coches lie at lower altitudes of 1250m to 1450m and have quick and easy access to the La Plagne ski area. The Espace Paradisio in Montchavin-les Coches, is a aqua-leisure complex with a spa area and indoor and outdoor pools.

Resort busses run regularly between the different parts of the resort allowing guests to experience everything that La Plagne has to offer with ease.
