Terms and Conditions
The lessee declares having taken note of these special conditions of lease and accepting them without
reservation. They shall apply to the entire stay, which includes the accommodation as well as the additional
services requested (mechanical lifts, equipment hire, parking, cleaning services, food and beverage etc.). The lessee
undertakes to respect these conditions in person as well as to have them respected by other people taking part in
the stay for whom the lessee shall act as guarantor. Clients placing reservations must be at least 18 years of age and
legally entitled to enter into agreements.
RESERVATIONS AND BOOKING CONFIRMATION
All reservations become firm and final after receiving a 25% -deposit.
Once this payment is received and the general terms of lease have been received, duly signed by the lessee
with a copy of his or her ID document, these formalities shall represent acceptance of the offer. The
payment of the deposit commits the client automatically to agree without any changes the general and special
conditions of lease and conditions of cancellation.
Reservations are accepted subject to availability and the Montagnettes Booking office reserves the right to refuse
any reservation of an unwarranted or incorrect nature. Administration fees: 25 € per file for the first 4 reservations
concerning direct customers only, and from the 5th reservation, administration fees are free of charge.
The person making the reservation remains the principal contact for the reservation of accommodation and
additional services selected as well as for their payment. The reserving party should therefore make prior
arrangements to organise single payments of the deposit and then the balance.
The online reservation procedure comprises the following stages as a minimum: - clients search for the available
accommodation, according to their selected criteria (dates of stay, destination, number of people etc.),
- clients select the accommodation of their choice by clicking on RESERVE; a description of the accommodation,
the rental price rate inclusive of tax, the services included in the stay, their price inclusive of tax, the optional
cancellation insurance and its cost is displayed, allowing clients to check the details of their reservations.
- Clients are then asked to accept the special conditions by ticking the box provided for this purpose.
Clients must create an account and provide their contact details. All compulsory pieces of information are indicated
by asterisk. Clients are asked to provide their bank details in order to make a secure online payment.
- Administration fees: 25 € per file for the first 4 reservations concerning direct customers only, and from the 5th
reservation, administration fees are free of charge.
- After validation of general and special conditions and payment of the reservation, a summary of the reservation,
on which a reservation number is allocated to the client, will be sent by e-mail. The reservation number is to be
quoted in all correspondence. The balance will be automatically charged within 30 days before arrival.
PAYMENT OF BALANCE –EXCEPT FOR ONLINE RESERVATION
The balance of the payment must be received no later than 1 month prior to arrival (including additional
services) with no reminder forthcoming on our part. If payment is made by Credit Card, guests may, at the same
time, make all necessary arrangements with the MONTAGNETTES booking office with a view to authorizing
payment of the balance to be made through the same Credit Card procedure and number, on the scheduled date,
without any further formalities entered into on the part of the guest. The bank transfer charges or refusal fees are
payable by the lessee. In case of balance not settled within 30 days before the arrival, the MONTAGNETTES Booking
office, reserves the right to cancel the reservation and to apply accordingly the conditions of cancellation planned
for that purpose and defined below.
Once the full amount has been paid, MONTAGNETTES reservations office forwards the lessee a reservation
confirmation with itinerary. The payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice issued. Failing this, an interest
rate of three times the legal interest rate shall automatically apply without follow-up from us.
Reservations made less than one month prior to the arrival date can only be confirmed if accompanied by
payment of the full amount of the stay. Payment by cheque will not be accepted. No additional services will
be refunded after the balance of payment.
The contracting society wishes to recall that under article L 121-20-4-2 of the code of consumption, the cooling-off
right is not applicable to the benefits of accommodation, transport, catering and leisure, provided on a date or for a
specific period. So that all reservations and orders done on our Web sites and by a sales consultant from the central
booking Montagnettes cannot be the subject of a right of withdrawal.
“Cancellation of seasonal rentals” insurance has been created for guests. Should the lessee wish to be covered, the
insurance must be taken out at the time of the reservation and paid for in addition to the deposit of 25%, this
amount represents 4 % of the booking’s total amount. It comes into effect immediately after payment of the
premium and is non-refundable in case of cancellation. It remains optional but will be offered systematically when
making a reservation. It will be withdrawn at your request, in writing, at the booking centre, before the
confirmation of your reservation, if you do not want to subscribe. After 14 days cooling off right (for the
insurance only), any insurance paid with the deposit will be considered as subscribed and cannot be
deducted when paying the balance.
CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT OF THE STAY AND EXTRA SERVICES BY THE CLIENT
In the event of a cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, the sums paid in respect to the deposit or balance of stay
shall be retained by the establishment, unless covered by cancellation insurance taken out by the lessee. Should
the balance not be settled within 30 days before arrival, the establishment, reserves the right to consider the
reservation cancelled and to accordingly apply the conditions of cancellation defined below, without follow-up,
refund of deposit or compensation.
In case of cancellation, the lessee must notify the MONTAGNETTES booking office by writing either by email, or by
recorded delivery letter, the date of reception determining the date of cancellation. It must be confirmed by email
from Group Montagnettes booking office. Any modification of residence, hotels, type of accommodation,
additional services (meals, ski passes, ski material) or date of stay made will be considered as a cancellation
and cancellation fees will be applied as mentioned below:
In case of cancellation or modification of stay:
- more than 30 days before the beginning of the stay, 25 € administration fee will be retained (as well as the
amount of the insurance signed at the time of the reservation).
- between 30 and 21 days before the arrival, 25 € administration fee and 50% of the total amount of the stay
including additional services (meals, ski passes, ski material) will be retained (as well as the amount of
the insurance signed at the time of the reservation).
- between 20 and 8 days before arrival, 25 € administration fee and 75 % of the total amount of stay
including additional services (meals, ski passes, ski material) will be retained (as well as the amount of
the insurance signed at the time of the reservation).
- between 7 days and the day of arrival and no show, or if the lessee does not check in, at the establishment
reserved, 25 € administration fee and 100 % of the total amount of stay including additional services
(meals, ski passes, ski material) will be retained (as well as the amount of the insurance signed at the
time of the reservation).
In case of shortened stay or shortened additional services (meals, ski passes, ski material):
The establishment is not liable for any reason to refund the amounts corresponding to these reductions
(accommodation, additional service....) These provisions shall not apply where the lessee shows that they have been
the victim of circumstances beyond their control, as understood by Article 1148 of the Civil Code.
In the event of bank rejection of bank card being used to pay the balance, and unless remedied within 8 days,
the reservation shall automatically be considered cancelled, without refund or compensation to the customer
(accommodation, additional services, etc.).
All additional services (ski passes, equipment rental, catering, parking, pets, etc.) must be pre-booked and prepaid 15 days prior your arrival. They cannot be reimbursed, even partially, by the establishment and the
booking center, as soon as they have been paid for, whether before arrival, on arrival, during or after the stay.
In case of modification of additional services (packages, materials)
- Between 30 and 15 days before arrival, a modification fee of 50 € will be retained.
- Between 14 and 8 days before arrival, a modification fee of 100 € will be retained.
- From 7 days to arrival, no changes will be accepted.
By default, the starting date of the ski passes and equipment rental is the day following the arrival. The
establishment and the booking center cannot be held responsible in case of disagreement with the client on this
rule as long as they have not received a written and explicit request from the client to which they have also
replied in writing.
If a person no longer participates in the stay, or if the clients (or a person) leaves the establishment in a hurry during
their stay, no refund, even partial, will be possible. The client must ensure that he/she has taken out the
cancellation insurance offered by the reservation center and validated at the time of confirmation or any other
personal insurance to cover these costs. The cancellation insurance proposed by us cannot be added after the
confirmation of the option.
PRICE AND PROMOTIONS
Our prices include all taxes (excluding tourist tax payable on site) and include the provision of the accommodation
and its charges (water, electricity, heating). Pet supplements, optional insurance premiums and administration
charges are not included. Packages (accommodation+ ski passes and/ or ski equipment, food and beverage…): rates
apply to a complete package including the accommodation + the additional services. The additional services
ordered cannot be deducted from the price of the package.
In case of increase of VAT, MONTAGNETTES reserves the right to apply this increase to the prices without prior
notice and from the time when the new rate applies.
The prices for ski-lifts are shown without insurance “Carré Neige”. Such insurance is to be taken out at the
request of the lessee at the time of reservation or directly at the ski-lift ticket office of the resort concerned.
The additional services as ski passes, ski equipment rental are proposed for 6 days consecutive.
It is imperative to read the general conditions of use of the ski passes at the ski lift company of the resort.
For reduced rate passes purchased, official proof relative to these reductions will be required. Without these
documents at the moment of purchase the ski pass can not be supplied. MONTAGNETTES booking office declines
all responsibility regarding the information given. Free ski passes cannot be supplied by the establishment. They
must be withdrawn directly at the ski pass office with photo and proof of age.
-In case of early departure or unused ski passes no financial compensation or reduction is available,
including in the event of complete closure of the ski lifts and in the event that the lift company itself
compensates its customers.
- No breakage or theft insurance is included with the rental of ski or snowboard equipment.
-Promotions and reductions cannot be backdated or cumulated. Should the reservation be modified after
the closing date of the offer, the new rates are applicable without compensation.
Tourist tax, collected for the local town councils, is not included in our accommodation rates. The amount varies
according to the town council and is to be paid on site. Depending on legal decision the amount is subject to
variation. The group Montagnettes will transmit this information and denies all reclaims.
CHECK-IN, HANDING OVER OF KEYS & CHECK-OUT
On arrival, clients must check-in at the reception specific to the establishment of their stay. Keys are provided on
presentation of the voucher or the reservation form, which confirms the payment and acceptance of the booking
conditions. The lessee must take possession of the accommodation on the scheduled date and time, during
reception opening hours and to pay the required deposit and to leave a credit card at arrival as a guarantee on the
same day. Outside reception opening hours, the lessee must contact the establishment without delay in
order to organize their arrival, during a timeslot suitable and agreed by the establishment. The
establishment shall in no way be held responsible and offer no compensation in the event that the lessee
may have arrival difficulties, particularly in regards to finding the establishment and/or collecting the keys.
Accommodation is available on the agreed day of arrival from 5pm and must be vacated on the agreed day of
departure before 10 am. In the event of departure after 10 a.m., the establishment reserves the right to charge of an
extra night cost to the lessee.
Only, the reception of our hotels is open 7/7 and 24h/24 and offers a Night Auditor. Keys are provided on
presentation of the voucher or the reservation form, which confirms the payment and acceptance of the booking
conditions. The lessee must take possession of the accommodation on the scheduled date and time, during
reception opening hours. Outside these times, the establishment reserves the right to refuse handing over the keys
and to rent the suite to another party after a period of 24 hours.
The extras’ bill (tourist tax, drinks, massage) must be paid before departure. In case of non-payment is, the
establishment can deduct the amount from the lessee’s deposit and credit card left at arrival. A receipt will be sent
to the address given at the time of reservation.
SITE INVENTORY, CLEANLINESS AND DETERIORATION
The establishment does everything possible to receive its guests in the best possible conditions in terms of quality,
cleanliness and refinement. However, it cannot guarantee perfect results and requests the diligence of the lessee to
examine the accommodation at the time of arrival and to inform the reception within 24 hours should the
equipment or the cleanliness be unsatisfactory.
Beyond this time, the establishment will understand that the lessee has accepted the conditions at arrival and no
further complaint will be considered including on his return from stay (accept in the case of a new malfunction of
equipment which must be indicated immediately and the establishment will intervene as quickly as possible).
The lessee must inform the reception immediately of any deterioration or breakage to the accommodation and its
fixtures that may occur during their stay, whether such breakage has been caused by them or by another person.
The lessee will not perceive any refund in the event of the technical team’s intervention in the accommodation
during the length of their stay. The lessee is responsible for the fixtures installed in the apartment, suite or room
and must not move these between apartments or suite apartments or rooms. These fixtures will be considered to
be missing and treated as such.
At the time of their departure, the lessee must leave the accommodation in an appropriate condition of
cleanliness and tidiness (furniture in correct place, fridge and dishwasher empty, bin emptied, kitchen
cleaned). Failing this, a set fee of 250 € will be charged and the establishment reserves the right to deduct
this amount from the deposit and credit card provided by the lessee on their arrival. After further inspection
by the management, all missing and/or damaged fixtures will be charged to the lessee, on the basis of their price,
the cost of their repair and/or the cost of necessary cleaning (particularly bedding). The cost of repairs in the event
of degradation by the lessee to the establishment, in respect of both private areas and shared areas in the building
(walls, ceilings, sanitary equipment or other), will also be charged.
The lessee must see to it that all doors and windows of their accommodation are closed and locked at all times,
particularly when they are absent. They must use the safe in their accommodation to store any valuable items. The
responsibility of the establishment cannot be engaged in case of theft, loss, or degradation of personal
effects in the apartment or suite apartment or room, the private parking area of the establishment, the ski
room and other common areas. All ski equipment is to be stored in the private ski lockers provided which must
be locked at all times. No object or equipment is to be left on the balcony of the apartment or suite apartment, or
room or in the communal areas of the establishment (reception, terrace, garage…). In the event of a break-in, the
responsibility of the establishment may only be held liable if the lessee immediately informs the reception and
reports the incident to the police within 24 hours, and solely under the conditions and limits of the comprehensive
hotel/residence insurance taken out by the establishment. The lessee is reminded the establishment will not be
held responsible for any personal effects forgotten in the apartment after departure. In accordance with Article 6 –
Decree no. 95-949 of 25 August 1995, the top bunk bed is not recommended for children less than 6 years old.
SWIMMING POOL AND RELAXATION CENTER
The access to the relaxation center and/ or swimming pool is forbidden to unaccompanied children. Correct
attire is required (swimsuit). There are pools only in Hotel le Taos, le Hameau du Kashmir, Ynycio and residence
l’Oxalys. There should be no diving, no running, no pushing no boisterous or rough play (music…). There should be
no throwing of any objects (balls, freesbee…) Animals, shoes, food and drinks are strictly forbidden in the pool and
spa areas. The establishment will not be held responsible in case of problem and reserves the right to deny use of
pool and relaxation centers to any one at any time. It is requested that all persons responsible for children ensure
that they do not enter areas reserved for members of staff. All incidents caused by the child will be at the adult’s
responsibility. All orders made by children must be paid by the adult responsible. Depending on the health
regulations in force, access may be limited in terms of the number of people and the length of presence, or closed.
The rented premises concern the rental and occupancy of the premises for holiday purposes only. The rented
premises and furnishings are for the private use and enjoyment of holiday tenants, with respect in particular for
their neighbor’s. The lessee is asked not to throw cigarettes buts and rubbish from the windows and balconies.
All reservation made are for a maximum number of people specified in the accommodation’s descriptive.
Should this number be exceeded the establishment is authorized to refuse all supplementary persons or
charge them 100€ per person and per day. The establishment will not accept responsibility for resulting
dysfunction in the accommodation, for example lack of hot water and the lessee is fully responsible for any
troubles or damage due to over-occupation.
In the event of nocturnal disturbance, and if two warnings of the establishment manager have gone
unheeded, the establishment reserves the right to retain the lessee’s his/her deposit and/or to undertake
their expulsion from the accommodation, with the assistance of the police if necessary, this expulsion
bringing a definitive end to the lessee’s stay, without any compensation to the latter.
Cots for children under 3 years are limited to 2 per accommodation.
The client must be courteous and respectful towards the establishment staff and other clients. Any verbal or
physical violence, inappropriate behavior, sexual, sexist, racist, anti-Semitic or homophobic comments, as well as
any form of harassment may lead to sanctions. In case of non-respect of these rules of good conduct, the hotel or
residence have the right to sanction the client according to the gravity of the facts and to contact the police and
gives itself the possibility to file a complaint in case of extreme behavior.
The Wi-Fi bandwidth provided in the apartment or suite apartment or room is not intended for professional use,
but rather for private use, and is limited to 1 connection per apartment, or suite apartment or room. Due in
particular, to the technical conditions associated with your place of stay, we cannot guarantee constant bandwidth
Unless agreement found with MONTAGNETTES Booking office, only one domestic pet (cat or dog) is
accepted per accommodation. The lessee is held responsible for the safety the other guests in the establishment,
and for the calm, cleanliness of the apartment or suite apartment or room and public spaces inside and around the
establishment outside. The lessee remains responsible for any disturbance or prejudice caused. The animal is not
permitted to circulate in and around the establishment without its owner and must be held on a lead at all times.
Due to hygiene reasons, no animals (except guided dogs) are permitted in the bar or restaurant. Daily cleaning
service or technical interventions will not be carried out without the presence of the lessee.
The supplement for domestic animals (food and other animal services are not included) must be paid at the

invoiced at an additional cost
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF LEASE – MONTAGNETTES GROUP
RULES AND REGULATIONS
In order to make your holiday stay easier, the rules and regulations are available in each establishment so that the
lessee may familiarize and respect them. It is necessary to be aware of them and to respect them.
CIGARETTES, CIGARS, VAPORIZERS
For reasons of hygiene and safety, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in our establishment and in our apartments,
suites and rooms. The lessee is asked not to throw cigarettes buts and rubbish from the windows and balconies. In
case of non-compliance, a penalty of 400 euro will be retained on your deposit, as compensation for the
remediation costs incurred in the event of olfactory pollution.
The establishment cannot be held responsible for any external disruptions which may interrupt or prevent the stay
from going smoothly, in particular in case of lack snow, of heavy snow falls, of supply of electricity, gas or water;
reduction, postponement or cancellation of activities and services offered by the resorts; and noisy environment,
natural disaster and road closure and is not liable for any refund as a result.
A photocopy of the lessee’s ID and a deposit by credit card (VISA and MasterCard only) of 500€ or 650€ for
residences Oxalys, Hameau du Kashmir, Ynycio and hotel le Taos and signed authorization will be requested at
arrival in order to guarantee the payment of any extras and visitors tax during the stay. The amount may be blocked
by the lessees’ bank. Failing this, the establishment will be entitled to refuse to hand over the keys to the lessee.
After verification of the condition of the apartment, the establishment shall destroy or cancel the given deposit
within a maximum of 20 days after departure. Any cost arising from damage, missing items, unpaid amounts,
unreturned keys (for which there will be a set charge of 35 €), penalties, etc. owed by the lessee to the
establishment may be deducted from the deposit.
At the hotel, a photocopy of the lessee’s ID and credit card number and signed authorization will be requested at
arrival in order to guarantee the payment of any extras and visitors tax during the stay. The cost of any damage to
the suite or apartment will be charged to the credit card left on guarantee by the lessee. The credit card
account may be blocked during the guarantee period.
Any claims concerning a stay shall be sent by registered letter within 30 days of the end of the stay to:

GENERAL AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Reservation involves acceptance of the general and special conditions of sale and of interior rules. General
description and photographs of our apartments are for information purposes only. Any request in regard to a
specific aspect/orientation or location of the apartment is considered to be a preference and is not
constituted a contractual guarantee. They are not considered as giving any rights of compensation. For
hotel TAOS only: in terms of preference of bed disposition (double or single beds only for the room duo) all requests
must be made at the moment of reservation and depend on availability. Without indication, rooms will be
attributed depending on availability. All information concerning the sports and leisure activities of the mountain
resorts, as well as their surrounding areas are passed on to us by the Tourist Information Centres and are given to
you for information only. We cannot be held responsible in the case of unavailability at the time of your stay.
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION
Information concerning the lessee is confidential and subject to computer processing intended exclusively for
companies in MONTAGNETTES. In accordance with the law on “freedom of information” of 6 January 1978, the
Ordinance n ° 2018-1125 of December 12, 2018 taken pursuant to Article 32 of Law No. 2018-493 of June 20, 2018
relating to the protection of personal data and amending Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, the lessee enjoys the
right to access and correct information concerning them. If the lessee wishes to exercise this right and to obtain
details of information concerning them, it is up to them to contact the reception of the establishment.
By express agreement, any dispute concerning the interpretation and execution of this agreement shall fall to the
exclusive competence of the courts in the vicinity of the registered office of the establishment and shall be
governed by French law.

so that you can book with confidence and prepare your stay serenely.
Cancellation without charge on a COVID-19 case
In order to help you organize your stay, we will reimburse you in case of:
- Closure of one of our establishments for the dates of your stay, if this closure occurs during your stay,
unused nights will be refunded.
- Closure of the resort at the time of your stay, if this closure occurs during your stay, the unused nights
and services will be refunded.
- Closure of the whole ski area at the time of your stay, if this closure occurs during your stay, the unused
nights and services will be refunded.
- Closure of the borders of your country and/or France on the dates of your stay,
- If quarantine or confinement is imposed. If quarantine is decreed in your country during your stay and
you have to leave our establishment, the unused nights will be refunded.
These conditions apply to any cancellation of your stay for the reasons described above and occurring until
the day before your arrival in our establishments.

The Taos is a modern and stylish ski-in ski-out hotel situated in the heart of Tignes Le Lac. Just a minutes walk to the resort centre with its shops, bars and restaurants and the main ski school meeting points. The hotel has fabulous facilities with a restaurant serving a buffet breakfast and dinner in the evenings, an indoor pool, sauna and steam room as well as a spa treatment room for guests to relax after a long day on the slopes. Paid private parking is available at the hotel.
The junior suite has a double bed, a single bed and a bathroom with a bath or shower. You will also find a flatscreen TV, coffee machine and kettle, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and free toiletries. Certain rooms have a seating area for your convenience.
A continental breakfast is served every morning.

Terms and Conditions
GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS
CAUTION: The tenant is responsible for all his personal objets or belongings. They are not covered by any Building Owner Tenant or the Owner-Agency insurance policy. Therefore, the tenant must personally insure his own belongings against theft; particularly for skis stored in outhouses such as the ski locker. The tenant is expected to insure himself with an insurance company in terms of personal liability and against risk of fire, flood rental risks, contents, as well as liability claims and thus must be able to prove to the owner or his agent such insurance. In consequence, the latest decline all responsibility for any liability
claim made by their insurance company against the tenant.
A booking is confirmed by sending an advance payment of 25% of the rental price within 7 days of confirmation.
2) BOOKING RENTAL
The booking will be confirmed after acknowledgement of reception of the advance payment, namely 25% of the rental price .The rental is concluded with numerated and dated contract. The balance of the rental must be paid one month before the arrival date. If a last minute rental is reserved less than one month before the holiday start date the full balance is due.
This amount becomes the property of the owner in the case of cancellation (for rentals over 3 days). The payment (deposit and balance) may be reimbursed in case of force majeure if a cancellation insurance is taken out (optional). Any bank charges incurred are at the cost of the tenant.
Rentals are for a minimum of 7 nights.
Rental periods start from Saturday 5.00 pm and end on Saturday 10.00 am.
Overnight stays additional to those in the contract will be invoiced additionally pro rata to the basic cost.
The apartment cannot be changed after the reservation and the contract has been made without losing the advance payment made to the owner.
The tenant cannot claim any reduction or indemnity on the rental price in case of any problems in the common parts (lifts, heating, hot water, electricity…). The same will considered in case of a wireless malfunction in the apartment due to a failure by the operator.
3) PRICE LISTS AND AUXILIARY COSTS
The compulsory tourist tax is applied subject to the current classification, the guarantee deposit, which can be paid by check in euro or by credit card, and the admin fees(16 euros) are additional to the price given.
The amount of this guarantee deposit is depending on each apartment and can be cashed in at any moment.
This security deposit, minus any costs to cover damages and other services, is for checks and credit card details destroyed within 15 days after your departure.
If the guarantee deposit is insufficient, the tenant will be obliged to pay the difference. If the keys are not brought back, the amount of the exchanged lock will be taken from the guarantee deposit.
4) RECEPTION AND HANDING OVER KEYS
Reception will be at Val D'Isere Agency (in the resort centre) from 9 .00 am to noon and 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm, or in our La Daille Office.
Exceptionally, tenants who want to take possession of the apartment after 7.00 pm must pay both the balance of the rental price one month before the arrival date and also the guarantee deposit.
The Agency will hand over the keys starting from 5.00 pm after reception of the total rental price and the guarantee deposit.
The balance will also have to be paid if the premises are not occupied on the planned date (except in a case of force majeure covered by cancellation insurance conditions).
On arrival, an inventory of the premises will be made and returned signed by the tenant to the Agency at the latest the day after arrival, before 5.00 pm. Any claim concerning rented premises and the inventory must be presented within 48 hours after handing over the keys.
Occupancy dates and release times must be strictly respected.
Animals may be admitted subject to the current legislation.
The inventory is made initially in the presence and in agreement with the tenant.
6) SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Tenants are requested to:
- treat the rented premises and their contents with due care.
- strictly avoid housing more occupants than are stated in the rental contract, that corresponds to the accommodation facilities in the apartment considered.
- Do not make any change in the arrangement of the furniture in the apartment and it’s forbidden to take them outside the apartment.
- To give the apartment back in the same state as initially found (rubbish emptied, dishwashing cleaned, linen taken off and fold up in the entrance of the apartment…).
- respect instructions concerning energy savings, particularly avoiding leaving windows open and radiators on unreasonably, and also to take all precautions against
risks of frost.
- respect the internal building regulations as posted, particularly concerning the obligation for quiet after 10.00 pm.
- respect the non smoking instructions
- follow the prohibition of the use of Internet contrary to French law and more particularly rights to intellectual property (illegal downloading, respect of copyright…).
Breaches of these obligations exposes the tenant to prosecution by the head of internet legal governance.
7) LINEN AND CLEANING
Bed linen and towels are included in all the residences in winter and in summer, and the final cleaning too. The daily cleaning is included in some residences where specified in winter only.
9) COVID-19 SPECIAL CANCELLATION TERMS
Covid-19 cancellation policy for the customer making the booking: the customer will be offered either to use the paid amount for a later booking or to benefit
refund (after payment of the excess amounting 3%), in the following cases caused by Covid-19 upon presentation of supporting documents:
1. The closure of the resort and/ or of the ski lifts
2. National or regional lockdown in France or in the customer’s country, travel limitations and quarantine imposed by France or the customer’s country.
3. The closure of French borders and/ or the closure of the borders of the customer’s country or of a transit country; non-essential travel ban by the French
government or by the government of the customer’s country
4. The closure of airports, flights cancellations, the closure of train stations in France or in the customer’s country
Please note that you will be given a maximum of 15 days before the beginning of your holiday to decide whether you wish to cancel or come, past that period of time,
you will not be able to get a refund or have your holiday postponed.
If France was to close its borders to non-vaccinated foreigners or foreigners with a positive PCR test, the non-vaccination or the positive PCR test are not conditions
for cancelling or postponing for free your booking.
Our Covid cancellation policy may change depending on the government decisions.
Please note that for the customer who wishes to be insured in case of Covid19 infection or in case of Covid19 contact, she or he must take out a private insurance.
ALL LITIGIOUS proceedings that might have occurrence between the two parties must exclusively be in the tribunal of the locality rented.
CAUTION: Bunkbeds should not be used by children under six years old.

HOLIDAY AND SEASONAL RENTAL CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Under the general and special terms and conditions of policy no. FRPOPA11790, CHUBB guarantees, in the event of cancellation of the holiday, the repayment of sums paid by way of deposit (less an excess of €12) and, if applicable, the balance of the rental which will be paid through the Agency, with a maximum of €10,000
due to one of the following cases:
1-CANCELLATION OF STAY:
1.a – Serious illness, serious accident or death of the reserving party, his/her spouse (including common-law partner or spouse bound by a civil partnership) or their
descendants, ascendants, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, sisters and brothers or persons designated in the rental contract. Serious illness or serious accident means
any change in health or any bodily injury prohibiting leaving the home or hospital, place of treatment on the date of the start of the rental period and justified by a
certificate of sick leave and by a medical certificate specifying the aforementioned prohibition. Chronic illnesses, whose progression at the time of departure would not
allow departure, are included. Cancellations due to pregnancy are only covered if the pregnancy gives rise to medical complications (miscarriage, post-delivery) occurring
after the effective reservation date.
1.b – Incident involving significant damage to the reserving party’s home, secondary residence or business, occurring before the reserving party’s departure and requiring
the reserving party’s presence at the location of the incident on the day of departure.
1.c – Incapacity to take possession of the rented premises following dismissal (except dismissal for serious professional misconduct) or transfer of the reserving party
or his/her spouse (or common-law partner or partner bound by a civil partnership), provided that the employer’s notification is subsequent to the effective date of the
cover and that the insured party has worked for at least a year within the company that is notifying his or her dismissal or transfer.
1.d – Reserving party prevented from going to the rental site by road or rail, on the day scheduled for taking possession of the rented premises and within 48 hours
thereafter, as a result of blockages or strikes preventing traffic, certified by the Mayor of the Municipality or any authority (Tourist Office, SNCF, etc.) of the location of
the holiday residence.
1.e – If the reserving party is forced to cancel or abandon their stay within 48 hours prior to or after the contractual start date of the rental, due to: The amount of the
cover is limited to €300,000 per claim, regardless of the number of cancelled or interrupted stays, which can be compensated. In the event of the cost exceeding the
cover, pro-rata repayment.)
1.e.1: Lack of or excess snow. This cover is only valid if the lack of or excess snow occurs between 15 December and 1 April of the following year and if more than two thirds of the slopes of the resort in question are closed according to the snow report published by an organisation authorised to issue this report.
1.e.2: As a result of natural disasters in accordance with the law of 13/07/1982 or forest fires occurring within 8 days preceding the start of the stay resulting in: a)
either the prohibition of staying on the site by the competent authorities during all or part of the rental period, b) or damage to the rented premises and the site such
that it does not allow the tenant to normally enjoy the environment and the services that motivated his/her rental. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall refer to
the opinion of the local Tourist Office to assess the validity of the cancellation, given the local repercussions of the event on tourism.
1.f – Inability to take possession of the rented premises following an administrative summons.
2-INTERRUPTION OF STAY: The insurer shall reimburse the reserving party for the amount of rent not yet accrued as a result of interruption of the stay or delay in taking possession of the premises, as a result of one of the events listed in 1.a, 1.b, 1.e of the Cancellation of Stay, it being specified that in the event of delay, the
event must occur within five days prior to the contractual date of taking possession of the premises.
3-SEARCH AND RESCUE COSTS: The insurer covers search and rescue costs incurred by an organisation authorised to come to the rescue of the beneficiary, his/her
spouse (or common-law partner or civil partner), their ascendants or descendants or the persons mentioned in the reservation contract, up to €3,000.
4-ASSISTANCE: The insurer will cover the cost of:
4.a: medical repatriation by any means of the tenants or occupants as soon as they are in a hospital centre and cannot be treated on site.
4.b: repatriation of the body in the event of the death of the tenant(s) or occupant(s) to the place of burial in France.
4.c: the provision of a return ticket for a member of the family of the tenant(s) or occupant(s) if they are hospitalised for more than 10 days and more than 100 km
from their home.
4.d: the provision of a return ticket for the tenant or occupant in the event of the sudden and unforeseeable death of a close relative.
4.e: the provision of a driver for returning the vehicle if, following repatriation, none of the tenants or occupants can drive the vehicle.
This cover applies in mainland France and neighbouring countries, and exclusively during the stay of the insured parties. It takes effect when they leave their home and
ends when they return.
In the event of a claim under this cover, the insured party must contact CHUBB ASSISTANCE directly on 33 (0)188.8.131.52.25 by providing the following references:
ALL DAMAGES DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ARE EXCLUDED:
- An epidemic or a pandemic declared and qualified as such by the world health organisation and/or requiring quarantine and/or lock down measures imposed
by the government,
- Foreign war (it is the responsibility of the insured party to prove that the claim results from another fact),
- Civil war (it is the responsibility of the insurer to prove that the claim results from a civil war),
- All direct or indirect effects of explosion, release of heat, irradiation resulting from transmutation of atomic nuclei or radioactivity or exposure to any substance
or contamination of a biological or chemical nature,
- Use of drugs not medically prescribed,
- Playing a sport as a professional,
- An intentional act by the insured party or his/her suicide or attempted suicide,
- Aesthetic, psychological or psychotherapeutic treatment,
- Illness or accident, pregnancy and in general any change in health, the first symptoms of which take place before the date of booking the holiday,
- A medical ban on treatment programmes,
- Rentals longer than 90 days.
FORMALITIES IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM:
In the event of a claim, the insured party must inform the Agency within 8 days, and at the same time, GBC Montagne, 298 Avenue Maréchal Leclerc, CS 80023, 73704
BOURG ST MAURICE CEDEX, by attaching to its declaration all the supporting documents, and in particular concerning illness, accident or death, the medical certificate
or death depending on the case, accompanied by a copy of the rental contract. Compensation due to the insured party will be paid directly by GBC Montagne within 30
days following the agreement of the parties
CREATION, EFFECTIVE DATE:
This cover provided by CHUBB shall be effective from the day following receipt by the reserving party of the rental contract drawn up by VAL D'ISERE AGENCE, and for the rental period indicated in said contract.
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS INSURANCE CONTRACT DO NOT REPLACE THOSE OF THE RENTAL CONTRACT.
